A study was made on the synthesis of copolymers by copolycondensation reaction of α,ω-dihydroxy-polydimethlsiloxane (Ⅱ) and glycol (Ⅲ) witrh diethyl-2-(N,N-dimethylaminobenzyl) malonate (Ⅰ), on their membrane preparation and from form the viewpoint of the interaction between electron accepter and donor, a discussion was made on the gas permeabilities for O_2 and N-2 through the membranes. It was shown that the copolymers can be obtained by copolycondensation; the copolymers can be prepared into dense membranes by casting the copolymer with alittle vulcanizing agent onto a glass plate. The elastomeric membranes have better mechanical strength than PDMS. The permeabilities for O_2(Po_2) are of the same order of magnitude as PDMS, the values of permeability ratio of O_2 to N_2(Po_2/P_(N_2)) through the membranes are higher (up to 2.54).
