Conductive Mechanism of Gold Nanoparticle/Smart Hydrogel Accademy Composite with "On/Off" Effect

The conducting behavior and mechanism of gold nanoparticle/smart hydrogel composite were studied.The results show that the electric properties of composite exhibit excellent "on/off" effect.Further,its conductive behavior fits with different mechanisms at different temperature.At lower temperature,the composite is swollen and its conductive behavior fits with quantum mechanical tunneling conduction theory;but at higher temperature,the composite is at shrunken state and its conductive mechanism agrees with Ohmic theory.
