Preparation and Characterization of SPEEK/PVA-AgNPs Composite Film

Firstly,the SPEEK/PVA polymer film which had the function of photo-induced generation of free radicals was prepared with sulfonated polyether ether ketone(SPEEK)as a photosensitive radical carrier and polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)as a dispersion stabilizer.Then,the SPEEK/PVA-AgNPs composite film was prepared via the generation of silver nanoparticles(AgNPs)in the SPEEK/PVA film by UV-induced reduction of Ag+.The composite film was characterized by Ultraviolet-visible Spectrophotometer(UVVis),Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM),Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy(EDS),X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy(XPS)and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectoscopy(FT-IR).The results showed that the photo-generated Ag particles were nanoscale and distributed uniformly on the surface of SPEEK/PVA film.The SPEEK/PVA-AgNPs composite film showed brown color.Ag nanoparticles had formed a complete crystal phase and they were elementary substances.
