A Study on the Treatment of Dyeing and Printing Wastewater by Inorganic Ceramic Membrane

The treatment of dyeing and printing wastewater by inorganic ceramic membrane with pore size of 50nm, 200nm and 800nm were respectively investigated. The results showed that the alumina membrane with a pore size of 200 nm was suitable for treating the wastewater. Under the appropriate operation conditions, the flux was 129.64L.m-2.h-1, the retention rate of CODcr was 65% and the decolorizing rate of wastewater was 90%. 0.5mol/L nitric acid was found to be an effective effluent for membrane cleaning.
