LA-ICP-MS ZIRCON U-Pb AGE, GEOCHEMISTRY OF CHAIDANO MOUNTAIN GRANITE MASS IN THE WESTERN PART OF NORTH QILIAN

Chaidanuo batholith is located in the western part of the North Qilian. Prospect survey of minerals conducted researches on LC-MC-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb age and rock geochemistry. The rocks are rich in K and lack of Na, rich in Al and lack of Mg, rich in lithophilic elements such as U, Th and Rb; rich in LREE and lack of HREE.Fractionation of light and heavy rare earth is significant, and δEu = 0. 42 ~0. 62. It is considered that this rock-based "S" type granite is a product of partial melting of the crust-derived sedimentary rocks. The zircon U-Pb age was 515. 6 ± 2. 7 Ma ~ 513. 4 ± 2. 4 Ma. It was determined that the invasive age was at the end of the Early Cambrian and corresponded to the Cambrian rift expansion; the inherited zircon U-Pb age was 706. 7 ± 7. 1 Ma ~ 644. 6 ± 8.5 Ma, which coincides with the time of continental breakup.
