DISCUSSION ON THE TECHNICAL METHODS OF GEOCHEMIC ALANOMALY VERIFICATION——A Case Study From The Shuiquanzi Tungsten-Molybdenum Deposit In Yongchang County

One of the purposes of geochemical surveys is to analyze the geochemical field characteristics of elements and to delineate geochemical anomalies. The geochemical anomaly verification is to further identify the cause of the anomaly and to trace the source of the anomaly. The anomaly verification for the purpose of geological prospecting is to discover the mineralized and enriched area. In addition to analyzing the ore-forming geological conditions, geophysical and geochemical methods are widely used, among which geochemical methods are particularly important, such as water system sediment sampling, soil geochemical measurement, and geological geochemical profile measurement. Next, the surface engineering of the anomalous area is exposed and deep verified to discover the industrial ore body, that is, the abnormal nature is determined to be an anomaly caused by the mine. According to the analysis of regional geochemical anomalies and anomaly verification, the geologists further concentrated the anomalies and discovered the Shuiquanzi tungsten-molybdenum deposits finally. The typical example shows that geochemical anomaly verification is a systematic project, which needs to be consistent,identify the source of anomalies, and achieve a breakthrough in prospecting. The article is significant to abnormal verification in west Qilian.
