STUDY ON THE RESISTANCES OF WILD VITIS SPECIES NATIVE TO CHINA TO GRAPE RIPE ROT

Resistances to grape ripe rot(Gloeosporium fructigenum Berk.)of twelveVitis species or varieties native to China,including forty-nine clones,werestudied by field evaluation,field inoculation and isolated ripe fruits inoculationevaluation.The results showed that some species and clones were not infectedwith grape ripe rot or had very low incedence.They were resistant or highlyresistant.Only a few clones were highly susceptible.Vitis species native toChina are extremely valuable germplasm resources resistant to grape ripe rot.
