THE ABSORPTION,TRANSLOCATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF ~(15)N-UREA PRE AND POST BUD-BURSTING OF THE BRANCHES OF PEACH AND APRICOT

The present research was carried out under the conditions of field cultureduring March and June in 1988.The absorption of ~(15)N-urea by branches,shoots and spurs of‘FeiCheng peach’and‘Hong Yu apricot’Pre bud-burstingand the characteristics of translocation and distribution of ~(15)N-urea Post bud-burnsting were studied.The results showed:1.The branches,shoots and spurs have the ability to absorpb the ~(15)N-urea before bud-bursting The absorption rate was increased as time going and upto June 2 it could achieve 27%—32% and 29% respectively.2.Either peach or apricot,for shoots or spurs without fruits the newshoot leaves were the most important“~(15)N sink”absorbed by branches,shoot~sand spurs before bud-bursting.3.For shoots or spurs with fruits,the fruits were the most important“~(15)N sink”.4.Fruits could enhance the function of“sink”of new organ to ~(15)Nabsorbed by branches,shoots and spurs before bud-bursting.
