Physiological and Biochemical Metabolism of Nectarine Roots Under Protected Cultivation

Dynamics of physiological and biochemical metabolism of nectarine roots were studied with Shuguang nectarine variety grown under protected cultivation conditions.The results showed that th e changes of the sugar,protein,amino acid content ,POD and SOD activities in the roots had the similar rhythm with the new roots growth,while the changes of starch content was on the contrary.The content of starch,sugar,and POD act ivity in thick roots were higher than those in thin roots,while the content of protein,amino acid and SOD activity changed irregularly.
