By applying the framework of the tangent bundle geometry to the method of Lagrange multi- pliers,a geometric description of Chetaev's nonholonomic systems subjected to unilateral nonholonomic con- straints trod unilateral holonomic constraints respectively in time-independent circumstances is presented.
