INTERNAL RESONANCE OF PLATES WITH INITIAL STRESS

The present study analyses the nonlinear frequency-response behavior of plates with initial stresses using the nonlinear time-space finite element method and the spline finite element technique. The large amplitude free vibration and the forced vibration with the damping of the square plant with the different initial siresses as well as the internal resonance of the rectangular plate are analysed.
