THE WEIGHT FUNCTION OF METHOD FOR DETERMINING INTERFACE CRACK TIP STRESS INTENSITY FACTORS
Shen Lianxi;Yu Shouwen(Dept.Eng.Mech.,Tsinghua Univ.,Beijing,100084)
The method for the derivation of two-dimensional weight functions presented by Paris is developed for interface cracks. The weight functions for determining the stress intensity factors of the semi-infinite interfsce crack along the interface of a infinite bimaterials body are obtained. Using the weight functions, the stress intensity factors induced by some action near cracktip such as transformation strain, adge dislocation, heat expansion, etc. may be easily obtained. As an example, the stress intensity factors induced by an edge dislocation in one side of bimaterials interface are given.
