10 Gbit/s CSRZ 3 040 km optical transmission experiment without electronic regeneration

This paper introduces the transmission experiment of 10 Gbit/s CSRZ code over actual 3 040 km G.652 fiber line. The system has a bit rate of OTU2 format accordance with G.709, employs the distributed Raman amplification technology. The experimental results show that after 3 040 km transmission, Q value is lager than 4.76, the optical path penalty is smaller than (1.78 dB,)and the system runs error free for continuous 48 hours.
