LIU Qun-hui;ZHU Zu-xin;Department of Neurology,Central Hospital in Enshi county;
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of mouse nerve growth factor combined with hyperbaric oxygen therapy on patients of chronic facial neuritis. Methods: Clinical efficacy of 13 cases(the course was 90~120 d) were assessed before and after the therapy. All the cases had received mouse nerve growth factor combined with hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Ross Facial nerve grading system and CMAP amplitude, R1 incubation were used to evaluate the clinical effect scores. Results: The Composite score after treatment was significantly higher than that before treatment(t=-22.3,P0.01). The greater amplitude of CMAP and shorter latency R1 were found after treatment than that before treatment(t=5.69,P0.01). Conclusion: Mouse nerve growth factor combined with hyperbaric oxygen therapy was effective on patients with chronic facial neuritis.
