Variance analysis of the risk factors in different atherosclerosis diseases

Objective To investigate the relationship between atherosclerosis diseases and the risk factors,such as homocysteine(HCY),and to analyze the differences of the risk factors in different atherosclerosis diseases.Methods The serum levels of low-density lipoprotein(LDL),lipoprotein(a)[Lp(a)],uric acid(UA),HCY and high sensitive-C reaction protein(HS-CRP) were parallel detected in 120 cases of patients with acute cerebral infarction(ACI group),103 cases with coronary heart disease(CHD group),43 cases with peripheral artery disease(PAD group) and 50 healthy controls(control group).The contrastive analysis and multivariate analysis were conducted.Results ACI,CHD and PAD group all showed significant differences from the control group,including the serum levels of LDL,Lp(a),UA,HCY and HS-CRP(Hc=76.789,13.982,21.788,28.550,χ2=16.041,P0.05).Multivariate analysis indicated that each risk factor had a different degree of correlation with different atherosclerosis diseases.Conclusion The serum levels of LDL,Lp(a),UA,HCY and HS-CRP could be closely related with atherosclerosis diseases.Each risk factor might have a different degree of correlation with different atherosclerosis diseases.Early detection of LDL,Lp(a),UA,HCY and HS-CRP could have positive significance for preventing and curing atherosclerosis diseases.
