Case report of diabetes with articular infection by Klebsiella pneumoniae and bacteremia by Escherichia coli

Objective To improve diagnosis and treatment of diabetes with articular infection by Klebsiella pneumoniae and bacteremia by Escherichia coli.Methods Clinical data and laboratory tests of one patient with diabetes accompanied with articular infection by Klebsiella pneumoniae and bacteremia by Escherichia coli were analyzed retrospectively.Results Blood culture was Escherichia coli,bacterial culture results was Klebsiella pneumoniae infection.Conclusion Patients with diabetes combined with Klebsiella pneumoniae articular infection and Escherichia coli blood infection has atypical clinical manifestations with rapid progress,always be misdiagnosed.The laboratory tests and anti-infection treatment should be done timely to shorten the course.
