THE MINING OF THE HIGH GRADE URANIUM DEPOSIT
The Canadian McArthur River uranium deposit is the largest, highest grade deposit, with the high-grade uranium ore (17. 33% U3O8 on average) and big tonnage (with uranium reserves and resources of 185 000 t) . A severe challenge of radiation control and high water pressure dealing is faced during mining this kind of deposit.
