Wear Properties of B-C-N Co-penetrated Layer and Argon Arc Remelted Layer on Q235 Steel Surface

B-C-N co-penetrated layer was prepared on Q235 steel surface by powder imbedding method,and argon arc remelting was carried on the co-penetrated layer.The phase,cross sectional morphology,microhardness,abrasive wear property and erosive wear property of co-penetrated layer and remelted layer were studied.The result show that the phases including FeB,Fe2 B,Fe2N,Fe8 N and Fe3 C generated in co-penetrated layer.The phases of FeB,Fe2 N,Fe8N phases in co-penetrated layer dissappeared after argon arc remelting,and the new phases including Fe23(B,C)6and Fe3 N generated.The maximum microhardness of co-penetrated layer wass 1 198.4HV,and that of the remelted layer was 1 192.8HV,and the hardness gradient of the remelted layer changed gently.The wear resistance of co-penetrated layer and remelted layer were higher than that of Q235 steel substrate,and remelted layer had the relatively good wear resistance.
