Phase Relation in Ta_2O_5-WO_3-RO_2(R=Zr,Ti)Ternary System

Binary system samples and Ta_2O_5-WO_3-RO_2(R=Zr,Ti)ternary system samples were prepared after holding at 1 200 ℃for 18 hwith Ta_2O_5,WO_3,ZrO_2 and TiO_2 as raw materials.The phase composition was analyzed and the subsolidus phase diagrams of the Ta_2O_5-WO_3-RO_2 ternary systems at 1 200 ℃ were obtained according to the interaction and coexistence of each phase.The results show that five compounds of Ta_(22)W_4O_(67),Ta_2WO_8,Ta_(16)W_(18)O_(94),TiTa_2O_7 and TaZr_(2.75)O_8 were produced when the binary systems composed of Ta_2O_5,WO_3,ZrO_2 and TiO_2 were heated at 1 200 ℃ for 18 h.Four Coexisting triangles of Ta_(16)W_(18)O_(94)-WO_3-TiO_2,Ta_2WO_8-Ta_(16)W_(18)O_(94)-TiO_2,Ta_2WO_8-TiTa_2O_7-TiO_2 and Ta_2WO_8-TiTa_2O_7-Ta_(22)W_4O_(67) and a solid solution region of Ta_2O_5,WO_3 and TiO_2 existed in the Ta_2O_5-WO_3-TiO_2 ternary subsolid system.Four coexistence triangles of Ta_2WO_8-Ta_(22)W_4O_(67)-TaZr_(2.75)O_8,Ta_2WO_8-Ta_(16)W_(18)O_(94)-TaZr_(2.75)O_8,WO_3-Ta_(16)W_(18)O_(94)-TaZr_(2.75)O_8 and WO_3-ZrO_2-TaZr_(2.75)O_8 and a solid solution region of Ta_2O_5,WO_3 and ZrO_2 existed in the Ta_2O_5-WO_3-ZrO_2 ternary subsolid system.
