Seismic Analysis of a Multi-layer Steel Frame Structure Based on OpenSees

In this paper, a multi-layer steel frame structure model is established by ETABS software, and the model is pretreated by OpenSees by ETO software. The influence of viscous damper on the seismic performance of multi-layer steel frame structure is analyzed. The results show that the effect of viscous dampers on multi-layer steel frame structures is obvious. With the increase of earthquake intensity, viscous dampers can still maintain a certain effect. The research results can provide reference for further research on seismic performance of multi-layer and high-rise buildings based on OpenSees.
