Dynamic response analysis of optics speculum and its subassemblies by modal synthesis of substructures

In space remote sensor optics speculum and its subassemblies have complicated structure and correspondingly large FE model. The method modal synthesis of substructures as dynamic responses solving approach was introduced. After concretely discussing the principle of modal synthesis of substructures and implementation approach in project, a concrete example was given. The results indicate, modal synthesis of substructure contrasting to the classical FE method, normal frequency errors are less than 7%, the calculate time is shorten to 2/3; acceleration response curves consistent well, the calculate time is shorten to 2/5, the analysis efficiency obviously improves; the modal synthesis of substructures is well suit for project application.
