Effect of lime on the transference ,transformation and bioavailability of Pb

In the study,a pot experi ment was conducted to investigate the effects of different li me levels on the transference,transformation and bioavailability of Pb in flowering Chinese Cabbage.The experi mental soil was polluted with Pb 1000 mg/kg and six lime levels including 0,345,690,1380,2070 and 3450 mg/kg were applied,respectively.The results showed that,with the increase of lime level,the soil pH was increased,but the contents of DTPA-exchangeable Pb in soil was significantly decreased.Moreover,the Pb content in root and the total Pb absorption of flowering Chinese Cabbage decreased significantly.
