Grey Correlation Analysis on the High-Citation and High-Download Papers of Subject Field:A Case of Probability and Mathematical Statistics

In this paper,grey correlation analysis is introduced to evaluate the feasibility of the comprehensive evaluation of an article.CNKI China academic journal network publishing pool is taken as data source.A set of highly cited and highly downloaded paper samples published in 2015 are used for analysis in the field of theory and mathematical statistics subject.The citations,downloaded times of papers and the impact factor of paper-carried journal are taken as target.The highly cited and highly downloaded papers are selected by using Boxplot method in the field of theory and mathematical statistics subject.The grey relational analysis method is used to calculate the evaluation index of highly cited and highly downloaded papers synthetically to obtain the degree of association of the comprehensive evaluation index of the paper′s influence.Results demonstrate that the results using correlation are morestable,accurate and objective in evaluating paper than using citations.
