Efficiency and Micro-ecology of Microaeration-Anaerobic Baffled Reactor Treating Swine Wastewater

The efficiency of the microaeration-anaerobic baffled reactor(ABR)was investigated in treating swine wastewater.In addition,the activity of dehydrogenase,protease and micro-ecology in the ABR were also analyzed.At the operation conditions the pretreatment with 8 hours of micro aeration,ABR of the hydraulic retention time was 24 hours,and the adding reflux between the first compartment and the fourth compartment of the ABR,the removal efficiency of COD reached to 70%-90%in the total system,and the removal efficiency of COD was 60%-80%in the ABR.Meanwhile,the removal rate of NH3-N reached to 65%-75%,40%-55%,respectively in the total system and ABR.The content of dehydrogenase and protease in each compartment of ABR gradually decreased,and the content ofdehydrogenase and protease was 41.06 mg/(g·h)and 0.42 mg/g in the first compartment of the ABR,respectively.According to the high-throughput sequencing results, Chloroflexi, Firmicutes,Proteobacteria were dominant bacteria in the ABR sludge in particular,the abundance of Chloroflexi was 51.12%,46.96%,62.44% and 47.23% in each compartment.Chloroflexi is beneficial to the degradation of a series of complex pollutants.At the same time,known from the heatmap figure,the microbial community structures in the fourth compartment and the first compartment were much closer due to the existence of reflux.
