Strip Distributed Transfer Function Analysis of Rectangular Dielectric Waveguides

A semi numerical methodstrip distributed transfer function method, is developed to analyze the propagation characteristics of rectangular dielectric waveguides. The fundamental equation of the method is derived from scalar variational equation, and two specific models are given. Numerical analyses of the models are presented and compared with other methods. The results show the advantage of this method.
