In this letter, based on the dynamic and difference equations describing an electro optical bistable system with a long delay in the feedback loop. The highest harmonic number of the dynamical memory have been simulated numerically and analysed, and the effect of the delayed time, extinction coefficient, input intensity, and initial phase shift on the highest harmonic number have been studied and discussed.
