FUNDAMENTAL CHARACTERISTICS OF GULANG Ms 8 EARTHQUAKE IN 1927

The authors have discussed the fundamental characteristics of Gulang Ms 8 earthquake in 1927, included the fundamental paramters, the source position, the depth and the magnitude,solution of the fault plane and the seismic active sequence. According to these and the features of dip angle of fault plane and the source changed with the depth,they have also discussed the geometry of the occurrence fault in the deep crust,and laid foundation for studying deeply the mechanisms of the Gulang earthquake in 1927.
