ANALYSIS ON URUMQI NO.4 WELL WATER LEVEL ANOMALOUS CHARACTERISTICS BY CORRELATION INCLINED RATE METHOD

When subsurface fluid,especially underground water in deep crust,formed artesian system in closed condition,they could reflect crustal stress and strain,this system was like a “natural strain meter”. The authors have discussed the relationships between the time and space evolutionary sequence of the correlation inclined rate (K i value) and the earthquake,between the dynamic change of underground water and the crustal stress and strain,they think the correlation inclined rate has better reflecting earthquake ability and short term prediction effect.
