EPIDEMIOLOGICAL STUDY OF COAL WORKERS' BURSITIS

To make sure of the present situation of coal workers' bursitis, an epide-miological study was carried out and found that the rate of bursitis in 4790 coal workers was 9.5%, and the rate of the diggers was 12.5%. But in the ground workers the rate was only 0.1%. The bursitis was often occurred in the site of knee, elbow and shoulder joints which were pressed and fretted all the time. Bursitis appeared at the same time in the site of knee, elbow and shoulder joints was not rare.
