Culture and Symbol Value in the View of Consumption

Consumption is not only the phenomenon of economy and psychology, but also is the phenomenon of culture and society. Seeing from the culture side, the nature of consumption is culture. Culture come into the consumption area through fashioning symbol and symbol value, the substance of symbol value is connection consuming and difference designing. The consumptive culture theory overcome recognizing goods only from the side of substance, but understanding goods from the view of culture, society, psychology.
