Synthesis and Properties of Caffeine Molecular Imprinted Polymer

WANG Cheng-gang (Shanxi Biological Vocational Technical College,Shanxi Taiyuan 030031,China)  
Using the molecular imprinting technology,caffeine as a template elements,acrylamide as a functional monomer,ethylene dimethyl glycol methyl acrylate(EDMA) as the cross-linker,2,2'-azobisisobutyronitrile(AIBN) as the initiator,the caffeine molecular imprinted polymers were prepared in chloroform solution.The functional monomer could be detected using the UV absorption spectral.the results showed that by the preparation of caffeine molecularly imprinted polymers the structural analogues of the caffeine can be separated and refined.
