Polysaccharide is one of the main components in Cistanche herba and has the functions of regulating immune activity, resisting aging, resisting tumor and the like. Cistanche herba from Inner Mongolia was taken as the main raw material, and the main factors influencing the extraction rate of Cistanche herba polysaccharide were analyzed and studied by single factor test method, and then the orthogonal test method was used to optimize and choose an optimal process condition. The results showed that with the optimum extraction conditions as follows: solid-liquid ratio was 1∶25 with 75 min ultrasonic-assisted extraction under 60 ℃,the content of polysaccharides from Cistanche herba was 18. 90%.
