The Study of Status of P in Soil and Fractions in Guangdong Sugarcane Area

Phosphorus(P) Fractions in soil is an important factor which affecting the phosphorus availability.In the present study,P fractions were analyzed from 62 samples collected from sugarcane production regions in Guangdong Province.The results showed that the most abundant P forms were iron bound P(Fe-P),organic P(Org-P) and aluminum bound P(Al-P) with the respective average values of 272.4,230.46 and 169.25 mg/kg,and which account for 31.86%,26.96% and 19.80% of the total P,respectively.Meanwhile,The available P(Ava-P),Al-P,Fe-P,occluded P(Oc-P),calcium bound P(Ca-P) and Org-P have large coefficients of variation with the respective values of 66.94%,64.90%,54.41%,78.06%,96.65% and 43.88%.It was implied that specific site conditions,as well as soil texture and land use factors,are important considerations,as they might significantly affect how P is divided up among soil fractions.Following correlation analysis showed that positive correlation among the soil pH,Ava-P and organic matter content(OM).
