ON SPECKLE SHEARING INTERFEROMETRY IN NON -DESTRUCTIVE DETECTION

The speckle shearing interferometry applied in optical non-destructive detection on composite materials is accompanied with a significant wide range of loading that will be of benefit to such whole-field observations and, that avoided the omission of detection.Intensity distribution of shearing interferometric fringe (equi-strain fringe) is presented in a move general way, wich shows that its density increases more slowly than that of holographic interferometric fringe (eqiu-displacement fringe) as the loading increases. An adjustable sensitivity characterized by the shearing fringe itself will additionally broaden the loading range greatly. Experimental observations agree upon the analyses.
