THE EVOLUTION OF CHIRP-SOLITON UNDER HIGH-ORDER DISPERSION

The evolution of initial chirp-sech-pulse in optical fiber is analytically investigated in this paper. Starting from reference 5, the changes of amplitude, wideth, frequency chirp parameter with transimition distance is obtained by using variational approach and regarding high-dispersion as a puterbation. The results show that the positive high-dispersion has contributed to the formation of asymptotic soliton in the optical fiber.
