H_∞ Controller Design of Sync Ceramic Plate Cutting Machine’s Displacement Control System

Since there is parameter uncertainty in modeling the sync ceramic plate cutting machine's displacement control system, and the running high power DC motor is impact by load fluctuations, complicated on-site environmental interference. This paper proposes a design of H_∞ controller based on robust control theory. To compare with the simulation results of conventional PID control, the H_∞ control can effectively reduces influence on the control performance from the parameter uncertainty and external disturbance.
