Study on Leaf Color and Morphology of Malus 'Radiant' Seedling Progenies

In order to study the variation of leaf color and leaf shape in the progeny of Malus 'Radiant',and to provide the theoretical basis for its genetic improvement. In this paper, the seedling progenies of 62 brilliant Begonia were used as materials,using color difference meter for the selected blade are measured,each made 3 replications, the color parameters L, a, b value of statistical analysis and cluster finishing analysis. Use the scanner to scan the selected blade first,then use LAMINA software to process the blade to get the corresponding index parameter. The results showed that there were some variations in leaf color and leaf shape in the progeny of Malus 'Radiant', In the determination of leaf color, all individuals are mainly divided into two groups,namely: the group of reddish leaves and the group of greenish leaves. The variation range of reddishbrown leaves ranged from 1.86 to 12.77,and the change of greenish-green leaves ranged from-2.03 to-19.27.The b value reflects yellowish blue,+indicates yellowish,-indicates bluer. The b values of 62 selected offspring lines were + value,the range of variation was between 5.31~35.60. Leaf area variation ranged from 537.5 mm~2 to3897.56 mm~2,and the largest leaf area reached 3897.56 mm~2,about 7 times the minimum area.
