In this paper,13 insecticides commonly used in the market were choosed as experimental agents, and the influence of injection direction on the absorption rate was investigated in the process of auto flowing trunk injection of the Populus. The resu lts showed,4.5% beta-cypermethrin EC,1% emamectin benzoate EC,40%omethoate EC,5% acetamiprid EC,and 30% acephate EC were all absorbed in the tree of the four directions of East,South,West and North.48%chlorpyrifos EC,40%phoxim EC,40%methidathion EC,and 3.2%abamectin EC were the fastest absorption rate in the south, and only the south was absorbed completely. The absorption effect of the south trunk injection was better than the other direction in the process of auto flowing trunk injection of the Populus.
