Environmental Engineering CAD Course—— Teaching Reform and Case-Driven Mode

The course of environmental engineering CAD, which is a compulsory subject of environmental engineering design, and it apparently shows characteristics of practice and specialization. The ability of CAD-program directly affects the students' future in the field of environmental engineering. For the reason that environmental engineering CAD course is theoretical and contains extensive knowledge, concepts and methods, this paper focuses on the relevance of teaching materials and teaching content, the target and orientation of talent training, characteristic culturing and learning interest, arranging reasonable curriculum and developing independent-thinking ability, the connection of relevant software, the case designing and teaching process implementing, practice and improvement, diversified course evaluation, teaching effect comparison of each mode and so on. We expound the essence and content of CAD-curriculum and combine complex environment equipment parts and engineering principles, through the guidance of teaching and graphical visualization, to improve students' understanding of equipment perception. It is proved that the method plays a positive role in culturing students' ability.
