Effect of quenching conditions on PA66 industrial yarn production

The effect of quenching conditions on the spinning performance and physical properties of 1 400 dtex/208 f PA66 industrial yarn was discussed. The results showed that the broken ends and filament waste could be reduced and the breaking strength of the fiber could be increased from 8. 5 cN/dtex to 8. 8 cN/dtex by innovating the cross air blow unit, installing a steam circular blowing unit and a rectifying plate, applying arc-shaped board in the quenching chamber under other equal conditions. The obtained yarn satisfied the quality index of high-strength PA66 industrial yarn abroad.
