Discussion of directly spinning process for 266 dtex/144 f PET POY

The PET POY of 266 dtex/144 f can be prepared from PET melt with the intrinsic viscosity of 0. 645 dL/g by directly melt spinning. A filter of 1μm in diameter was installed on titanium dioxide feeding unit. The filter-inset of the melt filter was 20μm in diameter. The PET POY with yarn irregularity 1.40% and elongation at break 123. 5% was produced under the conditions of microhole diameter of spinneret 0. 20 mm, annealer temperature 290℃, cross air blow speed 0. 5 m/s, distance between oil nozzle and spinneret 1 200 mm.
