Introduction autocontrol system for UHMWPE fiber relative molecular weight polyethylene

A set of automation platforms with open architecture were established based on the communication and control functions of Fuji Programmable Operation Display ( POD). The central control of the electronic-controlled equipments through the main console was realized by directly connecting the automation platforms, frequency converter of synchronous motor and PID controller into a network. The autocontrol system accomplished the frequency conversion control of tow drawing speed, the inlet and outlet liquid flow and liquid level control of cleaning unit, the material transportation automation of cleaning unit and the surrounding liquid recovery system, air quantity and temperature autocontrol for driers. The drive control was achieved by applying the open-loop control of synchronous motor and frequency converter. The accuracy of motor speed up to 0. 1%-0. 01% can be ensured without close-loop control by the combination of high-accuracy frequency speed regulator and permanent magnet synchronous motor.
