The Application of The Circuit for ARC Initiation at Low Voltage and Preventing Surge Current to High Frequency Pulsed ARC Welding Inverter

In order to use MOSFET more efficiently and improve the reliability of high frequency pulsed arc welding inverter as well as decrease current surge caused by short-circuit, the circuit for arc initiation at low voltage and preventing surge current is designed. The working principle of the circuit mentioned above is analysed and a mathematical model of the circuit for arc initiation at low voltage is studied. Some factors affecting are ignition are also analysed.
