Numerical analysis of flow field inside a cooling duct of a marine generator rotor

The paper focuses on the numerical analysis of the gas flow area inside a marine generator rotor cooling air duct.Geometric and mathematic model of solution domain is built by determining solution domain of the three-dimensional flow field.The boundary conditions are given in the solution domain and calculation and analysis are done by finite volume method,and then some useful conclusions are drawn.These conclusions lay a foundation for the analysis of flow and temperature field inside a marine generator rotor,and provides a theoretical basis of optimization of ventilation structure for motor designers.
