Experimental study on NO_x emission characteristic in 2070t / h opposed wall firing supercritical boiler

A series of combustion experiments have been made for the high NOxemissions of a 2070 t / h opposed wall firing supercritical boiler in Hunan power plant. The experiments analyzed the impact of the operational factors such as the volume fraction of economizer outlet oxygen,secondary air opening,the unit load and the overfired air opening on boiler combustion and NOxemission characteristics. Under single factor optimum scheme,the experimental research of multi-factor change on NOxemissions was done. The results show that the volume fraction of economizer outlet O2,the over-fired air opening and the unit load have an extremely significant impact on the NOxemission's mass concentration. The NOxemission's mass concentration is obviously increased with the increase of O2 volume fraction which followed economizer outlet and before SAR entrance. With the unit load increased,NOxemission's mass concentration rises at first and then decreases. The characteristics of boiler' s NOx emission are obtained by setting different operation ways such as secondary air opening,the over-fired air opening and so on,aiming to reduce the NOxemissions.
