Simulation study on thermal response of a certain type of LNG storage tank for ship

We simulate the thermal response of a certain type of LNG storage tank with 1100 m3 in a normal temperature environment. According to the characteristics of this type of ship with LNG storage tank,the relevant assumptions are put forward and the physical model and mathematical model are built. According to the evaporation between phases,simulation studies are carried out with VOF method and the phase evaporation model defined by ourselves. Through the simulation,the preliminary result of flow and heat transfer characteristics of the fluid in the LNG storage tank is obtained,providing data for the design and use of LNG storage tanks.
