Advances in role of microRNA in insect-virus interaction
WU Ping;Sericultural Research Institute,Jiangsu University of Science and Technology;
MicroRNA( miRNA) as small non-coding RNA widely participates in a series of important biological processes including development,cell apoptosis,tumor and anti-viral responses. Recently,studies suggest that micorRNAs play key roles in host-virus interaction. This article reviewed the mechanism of microRNAs biogenesis,interaction between miRNAs and target genes,the roles of miRNA in host-virus interaction based on the recent achievements in insects.
