Progress in research on boiling heat transfer of nanofluids

This paper presents the latest researches on the heat transfer of pool boiling and flow boiling in the recent years. The studies on the critical heat flux,heat transfer coefficient and mechanism are included in the experimental researches on the heat transfer of boiling. Moreover,the main reasons are briefly analyzed why the nanofluids enhance or deteriorate the heat transfer in comparison to base fluid. Then,this paper presents a review of recent numerical simulation researches on the boiling heat transfer behavior of nanofluids based on LBM.With different LBM models,the nucleation and growth of bubbles and departure from the wall are simulated and investigated as well as the departure diameter and release period. Finally,several topics worthy of attention for future investigations are identified.
