Study on Determination Method of Residual Acidity of Uranium Mineral

A new method for the determination of residual acidity in leaching solution of uranium mineral has been prepared using K_2C_2O_4 as masking reagent. The effect of interfering ions such as U~(4+),Fe~(3+),Al~(3+) as so on can be ignored, which is superior to traditional methods of (NaPO_3)_6 and EDTA-Ca. And the process parameter is 7.0±2 g/L relying on the method of K_2C_2O_4-MgCl_2 . According to the method, the average leaching percent of uranium is more than percent 93 during four months testing. As a result, cost of consumption of sulfuric acid has been reduced, and economic effectiveness has been enhanced.
