Structural Interpretation of Remote Sensing Image in Wanheyong Volcanic Basin,Inner Mongolia

Wanheyong volcanic basin is located in south Great Hinggan Range,and northeast of the GuyuanHongshanzi uranium metallogenic belt. The volcanic activities are very frequent and violent in Mesozoic era. To interpret the linear and annular structure in Wanheyong volcanic basin,the remote sensing technique and the visual interpretation were applied. The distribution regularities of linear structures which are dominated by NE and NW trending faults can be got from the field geological examination and the available geological data. Finally,according to the interpretation,mineralization and remote sensing alteration information of the study area,four metallogenic target areas providing a basis for the next step of mineral exploration were delineated.
